What is HUID (Hallmark Unique ID)?
A 6-digit alphanumeric code laser-etched onto every hallmarked gold article sold in India. It guarantees that the piece was individually fire-assayed at a BIS-recognized laboratory.
Three Symbols to Look For on Every Piece:
- BIS Logo (Triangular hallmark mark)
- Purity Mark (e.g. 22K916 or 18K750)
- 6-Digit HUID Code (e.g. `AX89K2`)

- Purity & Karatage breakdown.
- Making charges stated separately (per gram or fixed piece rate).
- Prevailing daily gold rate applied for billing.
